Bill Stewart

Managing Partner and Senior Acoustical Consultant

After completing an undergraduate degree in architecture, Bill accepted a commission in the U. S. Navy as a Special Operations Officer, specializing in Diving and Salvage.  He received his masters degree in Engineering Acoustics from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, and, with four children, retired to pursue a career in engineering acoustics.

After a brief period consulting with another firm Bill and his partners formed SSA Acoustics in 2000 specializing in architectural and engineering acoustics.  Industrial noise control has proven challenging and interesting for Bill leading him to take on the most challenging and demanding projects.  His resume includes more than 120 facilities involving sound and vibration issues.
Most recently he has been working on the Boeing Future Factory project resolving issues in temporary spaces for Boeing personnel and new spaces planned in the assembly building.
